Intense ruby in colour, this Brunello has attractive perfumes of very ripe red and black berries and delicate spices, with a powerful structure and a lovely mineral character on the palate. Plenty of supple, creamy tannins, it has fantastic concentration making it a classic Brunello. The balance between ripe fruit, structure and lovely acidity suggests the 2006 vintage will be a classic and very long-lived.
